Research
G.E. Totten & Associates, LLC will conduct research in a wide range of fields relating to thermal processing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals including: heat treating, casting, and surface engineering. Process development projects relating to industrial problems encountered with carburizing, carbonitriding, nitriding, vacuum heat treating, gas and liquid quenching, induction heat treating and others technologies may also be conducted. This work may include experimental and/or computer process simulations. In addition to thermal process research, projects relating to laboratory testing of fluids and lubricants in industrial equipment such as hydraulic pumps and compressors and related bench test performance simulations may be conducted. Advanced technologies including performance map characterization and simulation may be applied as well as traditional failure analysis. Introduction:
A wide range of research and analytical service work may be conducted by GE Totten & Associates, LLC. This work may include process research, analytical work, database building, modeling and simulation and other work. This work is performed under secrecy agreement and is treated as completely proprietary. All work performed under contract is owned 100% by the contractor. Some types of contract project work is described below.
