G. E. Totten & Associates, LLC was founded by George E. Totten, Ph.D., FASM. Dr. Totten has over 31 years of experience and is widely known from his long term experience in the heat treating and fluids/lubricants industry. In addition to, Dr. Totten has numerous publications and has worked extensively within SAE, ASM International and ASTM committees. Dr. Totten is past president of IFHTSE.

The initial mission of G.E. Totten & Associates, LLC was to facilitate the availability of global experts to address local problems related to Thermal Processes, Fluids and Lubricants. The objective was to make this expertise available anywhere it was needed in the world on either a consulting or contract research (or both) basis.

After formation of G.E. Totten & Associates, LLC the initial mission was broadened to provide high quality and unique products and services for these industries. Products and services currently offered include: cooling curve analysis, furnaces and equipment, advanced quenching technology and engineering, hydraulic system equipment, and software.

One of the most unique feature of G.E. Totten & Associates, LLC is that technical support for the company is provided by globally recognized experts in their various fields. This is an important and invaluable benefit because it provides clients with expertise which would either otherwise be unavailable or difficult to identify and obtain.
